Real workshop tips! This is awesome!

Not a question!

I just had no idea you would get into actual furniture and real woodworking tips in this course, and I'm so stoked!

Bringing us into your workshop and showing actual materials instead of photographs of references? Nice!

So cool! My woodworking-weekend-warrior can't wait for it to be weekend.

The title of the lesson reads as a Tales From the Crypt episode. Like what are you keeping in those cabinets buddy.

And I agree with Nat, so cool you went deep and used real reference. One of the things I first noticed on CG Cookie a long while back, was that when speaking about references in materials and shading, Kent always took the time to get out and record some real life footage of the surface he was trying to recreate, so we could exactly see with high fidelity what he was explaining. I was like oh yeah, these CG Cookie guys know how to teach, I'm subscribing. A lot of years later and I'm glad I subscribed. Although if I'm still here that means I haven't learned anything, so does that mean I was wrong and they don't teach that well? Oh my god!

Thanks, Nathi. As I said in the intro - knowing the real thing helps recreating it in 3D. There's lots more to come 😉

Omar the fact you're still here means you learned so much that your brain had to kick some redundant knowledge out. Like how to unsubscribe.

I LOVE the workshop b-roll. Every time I'd see it when reviewing the course, I got giddy over it. Something about a direct connection from 3D to the real world gets me jazzed.

Totally Kent! I think it's the first time I see something like that on a course and I'm really enjoying it!

Hey PolygonRV! Definitely. I always do! I just have to finish the course first to have a proper opinion and feedback. I wish I could skip work this week and just follow along, but it's been a slow process unfortunately.
