    button font not showing

    i applied the buttons boolean as shown but when i delete the font, the button-text just disappears

      I don't see how that can happen.

      Could you tell us more...what exactly the steps are that you are doing, with screenshots of the whole UI (not just of the model), if possible.

      Yes some screenshots and try and give us more context to see what the error might be. It's usually something silly that makes you go oooohhh ok, and that's the entire Blender journey no matter how expert you get, there's always something to troubleshoot.

      Before you apply the boolean hide the font objects to make sure that you have the correct boolean settings. I believe it's Difference in this case.

      Dwayne has a great point!

      It is also possible, that the Normals of your buttons are wrong. 

      That would mean the Boolean wasn't doing what it should do in the first place.
