Would love to have this tutorial updated to a Blender 4.5 version, I'm having lots of issues looking for settings that are not there anymore.

That is why it's recommended to follow along with the Version the Tutorial/Course was recorded in (in this case 2.90).
Over time, when you are more used to Blender and worked in different Versions, you'll be able to use any Blender Version you like.

Yes as Martin says, if you're going to follow along step by step with the video, it's better to use version of Blende the course was recorded with. After a while Blender versions makes no difference, but while it does, it's better to use the same Blender version. Since the software develops too fast, it becomes impossible to update everything to the latest version.
