[CORE modelling WIP] kitchen modeling practice part II

Polybooks

Heeding advice I focused to get the proportions right. I tried my best but just couldn't get it right... I spent around 2 hours tweaking the scene but sometimes it was the camera or the way things felt off despite using websites like [dimensions.com] and niche blog sites like [houseplanshelper.com] to get the proporions of my objects right.

Turns out even if you get the proportions of your objects right, the scale can be way off. Enter fspy. Thank God this software exists. It helped me get the camera set up properly. That helped so much! Although not a perfect fit I am satisfied with how the proportions of my scene look like... Tommorow I'll focus on modelling the major furniture pieces. [11/7/25]

    Excellent progress Ritaank👍🏻

And yes, naming your Objects properly is highly recommended! The longer you wait, the harder it will be.

And the harder it is, the lazier we become. And then it's all chaos and down hill from there and next thing you know, you don't even arrange your bed in the morning.
