Hi, I'm on Blender 4.4.3, and I couldn't get the numbering of the gondolas to work. The Realize instances made no difference. I can however change to use the "instancer" in the attribute node in the shader editor, and when I do that, it works.
Is this a change that has been made in later versions of Blender, and is this the correct approach, or will this give me problems down the road? Should the original approach still work, and any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you Martin. I thought I tried that, but I must've overlooked it. Anyway, I tested it out just to be sure, and just as in your example "realize all" works. Checking the timing on the nodes though, realizing the decals increased the overall process time from 13 ms to 18 ms. Probably not noticeable, but an interesting fact nonetheless.
