Unsure if it's good enough to continue

Question Sculpting

I've been following the 'Introduction to Character Modeling' course using a turnaround image I found online. But the result has turn out to be rather... strange? I guess? I've just finished the 'Sculpting the Head & Face II'

video, but I'm not sure if it's good enough to continue or should I try to start from scratch, perhaps even using a different ref image. I've included the blend file bellow, any feedback would be welcome :D

P.S. I've taken some creative liberties with the model, as following the ref image exactly gave me rather strange results :D

In my humble opinion, you can safely continue; you're on the right track.

There are (as is often/almost always the case with hand drawn references) inconsistencies between the different views in the Reference image, so you'll have to take creative liberties 😉.

Also don't ever forget, it's totally ok to have a go at it again if you feel you need to start over. I was once trying to model a helicopter, I kept iterating over and over because each time I felt I could do a bit better. And of course, by the fifth time it was a day and night difference by comparison to the first attempt. So go all the way to finishing your character and if you think like you know what, I'm going to start from scratch, don't hesitate to do so.
