Problem with eye corners

Hey all! I tried my very best to figure this out on my own but it's a struggle. Following along exactly as Ken does, I created a diamond junction in the outer eye corner. Everything up to this point has been going reasonably well, but now when I view in Object mode with susurf on, I get this jagged bit of geometry. Can someone please help me determine what is going on here? I've a feeling it has something to do with the diamond junction plane but I'm not at all sure what to do about it, and I'm afraid to proceed further without resolving the issue.

    Sculpting using the methods for creating a realistic human usually throws off A LOT of errors. So don't worry, your mesh not behaving well is part of the deal. You can try going into edit mode and deleting a couple of faces and grid fill it of just manually start filling faces. Usually just reconfiguring the area with new faces helps.

    Hi AAhtfulDodja ,

    That is a very tricky part to Retopologize for sure. That being said, it looks like the problem is not where the highlighted Vertex is in your last screenshot, bbut a bit higher up. Double check for double Vertices and inconsistent Normals in that area.  Also slightly move Vertices, one at a time, to see which part of the Mesh is causing this.

    If you can't get it to work, you can post a link to your .blend, so that we can have a look, because this is not something that is easy to solve from screenshots.

    Thanks all! I decided to start over with the inner eye structure, and this time things worked out a lot better. My sculpt doesn't have quite the definition that Ken's does, so it's not an exact 1:1 with his example, but I think we're getting there ;)22 at 2.01.45 PM.png
