VIDEO EDITOR: HOW TO EXPORT MY VIDEO FOLLOWING THE RESOLUTION OF MY IMPORTED VIDEO??

WHY 5-06-20 21-58-49.pngON EARTH is this transparent PART EVEN SHOWING? I know why but WHY?I CANT EVEN EXPORT IT EVEN IF I CUSTOMIZED THE RESOLUTION ALL THE WAY!!!!

BECAUSE THEN THIS SHOWS THIS IN THE BOTTOM:

SORRY FOR THE RAGE FIT BUT THIS FEELS LIKE SUCH A SIMPLE TASK AND I HAVE NO ANSWER

    Hi Kimberly AnimationStudent ,

    That is not a Blender limitation, but has something to do with how video is handled (compression, susbsampling, I don't know exactly), Flash Encoding can handle odd Resolutions and so can MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, as well as Ogg.

    You could also simply subtract 1 from the Output X Resolution (making it 652x1080).

    I'd recommend first right click on the video strip->Movie Strip->Set resolution. This will set the output resolution to the resolution of the video. Then if the X and or Y resolution is an odd number then as Martin suggested subtract 1 from it. Another option is to change the codec to DivX(In Blender it is listed as "MPEG-4(divx)" or you can change the container to one of the the ones that Martin points too. Side Note: MPG-1 and MPG-2 containers are the same as setting MPEG-4 container to use MPG-1/MPG-2 codec. At least in quality.
