What pen and tablet would you recommend in 2025 and how to connect them to blender? Are there any specific tablets or models of tablets that are ideal for blender? Do I need to connect them to my laptop or do I need to download blender from playmarket (as far as I know, there's no such app on Play market or AppStore)?
I also know that there are some deviced that you can connect directly to your pc and they'll work just like tablets. Did you mention those tablets and pens in your videos? Thank you for your answers in advance!
Kent has always say that he has had the same cheap Wacom Intuos Pen and Tablet, the most basic one, has worked on it for much more than ten years, has done all his sculpting on it and it's all fine. I too bought than one more than ten years ago, still going strong and works great. Sculpting in 3D has nothing to do with the tool at all, so you can rest easy that you can buy the most common one and you'll be able to work perfectly. Also I always say, it's better to start with the cheap simple one because it has the added benefit that when you get the hang of sculpting and you want to make an upgrade to a more expensive table, you'll be able to appreciate the difference.
I also have a Wacom Intuos. It is a great tablet. It has nice software that allows you to map the buttons on the tablet and the pen. It also comes with three extra tips (inside the top of the pen). They don't wear down too fast either. It works well for pressure sensitivity and is a great starter tablet.
