I like what I see here, Vladislavas.

Both are  strangely appealing (and that is a compliment 😉)

I like the snowman, he feels like a happy kid snowman wearing his dad's hat.

I'd say the handle is too thick and the thickness of the cup itself is too thing, you have to reverse that.

    Yeah, I agree with Omar.

You might even get away with the handle in some stylized context, but the paper thin side of the cup itself is looking really weird.

New cup, this one looks better, maybe????

    • Looking good 🤙
  • Martin Bergwerf replied

    Much better!

It's very much a stylized cup. If that's what you're going for, it looks good.

For a real cup, the 'hole' in the handle is very small and the shape of the edge of the cup would make drinking from it quite uncomfortable; a lot of coffee (or other liquid) would probably be spilled 😉

Not bad for the first attempt at topology without following the video :)

I agree, the main shape is there, all you need now is to learn the topology rules and you'll get it to look neat. It's great you first tried it without following the video, now when you see the explanation you can much more clearly see your pitfalls.
