Make a tree of growing glowing shortest paths with CG - Cookie knowledge

Question

There's some videos on youtube about how to make surfaces covered in vines and glowing lines and such, but they're convoluted applications of geometry nodes.

Is there a CG cookie video that can teach better how to animate like vine growth along the vertices/edges/faces a surface or something akin to it?

Hi Sid,

you could consider using the IvyGen Addon and when you created one that you like, use a Build Modifier on it.

Maybe with a complex boolean that slowly reveals the stuff that is chipping away? You move it out of the way and it would look like the tree and leaf's are growing?
