Clamp Geometry is not attached to rig.

I've gotten to the point of adding the IK constraint and followed the process shown in the video. However, I've encountered an issue. When I checked the vertex groups, I noticed that the DEF-clamp bone L and R vertex groups were missing. So, I created those four vertex groups and assigned the bones to their respective groups.

After adding the IK constraint, the clamp geometry isn't moving from its original position!

Please help me!

    Those vertices are not weighted, Hrishi.

    Assign them to the appropriate DEF bone ;)

    Or it's possible that the DEF bones have the deform option disabled by mistake.

    Hi hhrishi ,

    Did you Assign the Vertices of the clamp to the Vertex Groups?

    It's not uncommon to forget to actually click the Assign Button.
