Having trouble with the lips

Hi I'm needing a little help with the lips. I don't why but mine are not smooth and also defined as the video. Any ideas why may be and how can I fix it? Should I start all over again?

    Hi
I think it's a problem with the dyntopo, either switch to wired, put some sipmplify to make your mesh smaller and release the mouth.
With each new chapter I make incremental saves, so if I'm wrong I don't go back to the beginning. It's an advice, you seem to be doing very well. Cool

    (But I'm not a pro)

Yes, like Claire mentioned, it is a matter of the Resolution of the Mesh in the lips area. The Simplify Brush can help there.

But it might also be a good idea to start over. It depends on how much Sculpting experience you have. I myself re-started the first Chapter of this Course 5 times, or so and each time it got easier and the result looked better.

And like Claire, I also tend to make Incremental Saves per Chapter, or per important milestone.

And I don't calculate them anymore, and since I don't understand English, imagine how many times I've redone the portrait. One essential thing : The Eyes. As Martin says, make sure you save them : they're also the crux of the face. As soon as you think it's right : save incremental!

  • Thank you for your advices! I was able to fix it with the simplify brush like Claire said and luckily I didn't need to start all over again025-03-17 171833.png

The edges of the eyes are like ravines, both literally and figuratively. Save, Save !
    (Humor) ;)
