Ink layer

Question

i have followed the steps closely but i cant get my ink layer to change the color with the hard light blend. It just turns white and when i try to fill the image with colors in the color layer, the lines change to purple.

Solution

I see you're using 4.3 and not 4.2 LTS like in the course. There are some quirks and bugs still. If you want to see if these are fixed, try opening the file in 4.4 Beta or even 4.5 Alpha and see if it works better. These issues won't be fixed in 4.3, sadly.

Ok i notice that in minute 2:22 of the video the lines where black an then suddenly change to a dark red? Cold be that the problem?
