bezet's HUMAN progress

Polybooks

This is a great course so far. I am learning so much, not only about face anatomy, but also about how to analyze and simplify complex forms.

I am currently at the end of the planar phase. This is the second attempt, as I accidentally deleted folder with project files :( However, I am much more happy with the result than the first time.

Oh man, that was a hard one. All the time the eyes seemed too big,Β  too small, too wide, too alien, too crossed, too dead - until the end when IΒ  defined features around the eyes and it all came together. Also keeping the eyelids smooth and even was a real pain.04_eyes.png

Kent always says the eyes are super important. So it's a good idea to take the time needed to get it right. It's looking great so far 🀘

Neck and back done. Also some minor fixes - defined jaw line a little bit more as it got muddy after smooth filter step and some adjustments to the ear shape.
