boolean modifier

Question

im using 4.2, at 10:43 when using the boolean on the pot_bool i get this

By the screenshot I guess it's the solver problem? Usually changing the solver to "fast in the modifier gets rid of the problem. Try it out.

Hi Riccardo,

First of all, that is not a Blender Version issue.

Could be many things (Booleans are very error-prone), but I'd look at the Normals first (of both Objects) and make sure you are using Difference in the Modifier and try changing the Method (Exact vs Fast).

yes it works! i tried it as well but i wasn't sure it was the right thing to do as the tutorial dont mention that nor use it
