I'm having an issue with the Bevel modifier. When I try to modify the weight to bevel the edges on the cartridge's back slots (there are ten in total), the edges do turn blue, but it doesn't bevel the edges. can someone please help :'(

the first things that come to mind, are:
make sure that the Modifier is set to display in Edit Mode and see if Clamp Overlap is causing the problem:
