Since I am not a Substance Painter user, I have been trying to understand how to use alternative called Quixel Mixer. From what I understand it doesn't do baking. I did find a video in the Learning Quixel playlist of using Blender to do the baking. What "maps" or "channels" should I concentrate on doing in Blender? I'm pretty sure normal map but what about Material IDs?, or Ambient Occlusion or Curvature? Those are the ones shown in the video for blender. Will using these kinda match and set me in the direction of finishing this course?

You can Bake the Normals, Position, Ambient Occlusion and Roughness maps "simply' in Blender.
For the Curvature, you need a Geometry Node, set to Pointiness and connected to an Emission Node in the Material of the High Poly (probably need to insert a Color Ramp to increase the contrast). Then Bake the Emit on an Image Texture in the Material of the Low Poly.
Thank you for that Martin, The curvature was covered in the video I found, thankfully, or I'd be lost. However, I'm not aware of Position map but you know what, I googled and found something online about it. I'll be trying these bakes later this week. Wish me luck.
