I am looking for people to help create open source Blender models and animations to help explain how the human brain computes your mind and consciousness, based on current scientific knowledge and theories. I am looking for one or more people who are reasonably knowledable in Blender Python. I am willing to pay as a function of talent, but since this is a non-profit open source project I will not be able to pay at rates competative with many commercial projects. If you are interested, please email me at [email protected] . (Sorry for incomplete prior similar post. I pressed the "Create Topic" button and to my surprise it sent my prior post before I was done with it.)
Omar,
I'm sure you know much more about the blender talent pool than i do. I have no idea how much blender programmers get paid for what level of work, and how many blender programmers are interested in doing work that pays less than commercial projects do to be involved in creating something important -- animations and tools to explain to people how brains compute souls, i.e., its mechanisms of sensation, perception, cognition, behavior, and emotion, and the mechanisms of consciousness itself.
If you you would be willing to share such knowledge, I would love to have a phone call with you, or, even better, a zoom call, so I can show you what I have and some of the problems I am having. I am interested particularly in blender BPY programable models with a simple API so it is easy to repressent relatively complex activation patterns and so that it will be easy for non-blender people to animate them.
I want these models and animations mades with them in a web site, and I would love to give credit on this site to those who help me.
