Digital Lighting Submission

Question

Hi,

The new format looks great. I took a gander through some of the changes and noticed iI didn't complete the Digital Lighting by not submitting the final assignment. I did submit as per the option available at the time. I tried resubmitting it but it keeps coming back with a proxy error.

I'm just wondering if there is a viable option for submitting or is what I did previously of posting the submission in the Community Forum the correct way to submit for this course?

Thanks

I think in the forum is not the correct way, the correct way is as you did via the exercise in the course page. But right now as the site is new, you know there are going to be errors as things roll out. Maybe wait a while before trying again and probably most of the errors would've been ironed out.

Thanks for the report.  We are working on a fix for this now.

Thanks again for bringing it up! A quick work-around to submit the exercise is to visit our platform domain at https://cgcookie.mavenseed.com/ login and then this will let you submit the image while we adjust a few things on our end. Thanks for your patience!

    Hi Omar,

Yeah, for the lighting course the video that had the instructions said to submit it into the community forum and there weasn't a submission option. That's why I submitted it the way I did last week. I ssee the video is no longer there and now there is a submission option. No worries, I did manage to submit it now but it was a little confusing last week as you can tell from my posting it to the community., IThe instruction was to also send a ling to the other renders in a community post as we could only send one to Jonathan.

These are part of the written instructions from the assignment page:.

Post your renders, along with the reference it came from, on your community progress thread.

If you don't have one, now's a good time to start your own! You can tag me (@ mention jlampel) if you want me to come check it out.

Pick your favorite render and submit it to this exercise.

You may also create a collage of all of them with Photoshop or Gimp and submit that if you'd prefer.

Include in your description a link to either your progress thread with the references or links to all four to five references themselves.

So I hope all is okay with the linking to the commun ity post for the other renders.
