Why it doesn't automatically cut the shape just like the teacher? And by the way, I pressed ''X'' and it did nothing. As soon as the teacher form the shape, it cuts through the giant piece. It does not the same for me.
What is wrong with my box cutter?

ho, I noticed, it has to be in boolean mode - difference by default. It wasn't for me. When you're making the Ngon, it has to be red, not grey. Red means it's a boolean - difference. To make it Boolean - difference, you have to click on the mesh first. :-) Now I understand.
