Wheel Drivers Script and Blender 3.3

posted to: Wheel Drivers

Hi, love the videos, having an issue with Blender 3.3 and the script that you provide. The error that displays at first for you (Error: Invalid Python expression) and then changes to "slow python expression" on your video always remains at "Error: Invalid Python expression" for me even when I follow your method exactly and delete the existing var'. I have tried now for a week or two to find out why this will not run for me and I cannot see a reason. I have tried many fixes and workarounds with limited success. Can you help please? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Matthew,
    This could be a difficult one to troubleshoot.
    Is it possible for you to send your file and I can take a look?
    (something like google drive or a Dropbox link would work)

    Dear Wayne

    I am sorry for the delay in my response. Thank you for coming back to me. I found a workaround after I could not pinpoint the error. I thought at first it had been a naming convention issue but alas not one that I could see. Thank you once again, the course was very good and I enjoyed it. Even when problems occur you learn, often quite a lot. So for now we can just move on, with my grateful thanks to you. No need to bother you any further. At least today ;-}

    Matthew.
