Long gone, now back. How to start?

Question

Hey guys,

I've made a long break from blender and now I want to start again. I tried myself in (rough) modeling a medieval helmet and came to the conclusion: I am rusted in my skills. Has anybody here an idea how to best shake off that rust and how to get back in blending best?
As a side note: I'm not that familiar with the new cgcookie-site

Hi Tobles! Good to see you again.

Maybe this is what you are looking for; Guided Playlists:

    Hey I remember Tobles.

I'd say just jump in man, like you do when you cannon ball into a pool with cold water. Start with watching lots of modeling stuff and practicing as well.

Press Start would be a great place to refresh your Blender skills.
    Or Pothead
Cubicity is one for new skills to learn.

    Hey,

    thanks for your answers!
I guess the "guided Playlists" might do the trick. I'll figure that out!
Adrian, these courses seem to be the right thing for the first step, thank you.

Omar, I remember you aswell. It's nice to see you are still with the CGCookie.

    Thanks to all of you!!!
