Knowing nothing about Pokémon, I spend a few days doing some, very pleasent, 'research'.
It is very hard to choose one, but I eventually decided to go with this monkey. (Apparently it's not an ape when it has a tail...)
Fingers and toes are finally retopologized:
which results, with a 2 level Subsurf in:
Now, Armature, Weight paint, posing, add dress, guards, hair and some detail sculpting with Multires, lighting and rendering and posting in the Gallery. This all in less than 20 hours; I'd say that's a piece of cake.
Still need to do some hair, the dress, the guards (difficult!) and the fire...
I'll be able to finish in time and I think I have deserved a break now:
This is really nice. I love the plushy kind of fur. Gives it a nice child's toy feel to it. Scary Cuddly? :)
He's looking soo good spikeyxxx !! Those hands are really well sculped.

Next step, those #@^$! guards...not looking forward to those, although they where one of the reasons I chose this character :)
I'll leave the fire to the last, that will be fun!
