Wanted to resubscribe for 3-4 months, but monthly/quaterly isn´t available anymore.....
It's gotta be a website bug, right? Unless they just decided that they hate making money.

Ah ok. I may pay sign up again in a few months. Just joined the Discord though. I have some other tutorials to get through then may sign up again. The main benefit to me is really not having to download the courses. I prefer streaming so I don't clog up my hard drive. Thanks!
It also came as a huge disappointment to me. I used to renew the monthly subscription quite often in the past, the fee was affordable and seemed like a proper mutual exchange, but now over $300 CAD one-shot is such a massive increase. Thus, there's no more way I can financially support CGCookie while learning from a few tutorials to refresh my memory after leaving Blender for two years.
According to another commenter "the creators of CGCookie wrote that with the monthly subscription there was an expectation to deliver monthly courses, which would impact the quality of those courses."
Was it really an issue? It was easy for us to subscribe again when needed, when new courses were added. It's actually an incentive for your team to post new contents to collect monthly funds, but on a yearly basis it might just drive subscribers away. I understand your production can cost a lot of money (hiring teachers for the videos), still I would recommend bringing back the monthly formula and publish smaller scale lessons to keep the website updated.
I'll come back again later in hope the monthly plan (with downloads) is back.

CGCookie is primarily for streaming Blender courses, although limited downloads of lessons are available to view offline.
CGCookie is devoted to delivering the high-quality courses our citizens expect. Our courses generally take over 6 months to produce, a full course every month at the standard necessary to be of value to Blender students is not viable.

I definitely understand your concern, Adrian. I was mostly sharing why subscribers like me might not renew a membership, mostly when we only needed occasional refreshes on various topics.
I will keep Blender Market bookmarket, it might be the compromise to learn from you and still support your work.
One of the reason it's crucial for me to have files and videos stored in my external hdd is because I use a tool called Stagsi (stagsi.com) and I tag every file or sequences in a video to better search and find them later.
Great, I just noticed the monthly subscription plan is now available again. I'll renew it next month :)
