Excellent blend of fantasy and (almost) photorealism. I’d go after something Pompeii-like, and made at least one of the mountains a smoking volcano. I mean, look what’s underneath the island: surely, there must be some, sort of, pressure valve to release the excess.😉

The mountains are out of proportion, the trees the buildings etc. look equally proportioned , but the mountains are way too small and the cone shape feels wrong.
Maybe removing the peaks and going with a hilly region of land would be better, the size of the mountains look like they should be way off in the distance, much further than this slice of earth,
Other than the mountains everything else is awesome!
That looks amazingly good. The only thing for me is that I get confused as to the proportions of things. Sometimes I look at it and I think it's tiny, sometimes I look at it and I think is big because of the trees. I think what gives the impression of little is the fire down below. If that all is mountain size big, then it looks like a really big fire . So I guess that's where all the confusion starts in my head. But that is just a feeling I get, it's not a big deal. All in all it looks awesome, the composition, the clouds, haze and everything.
