Yeah maybe. If it gives you the same impression, try moving the balloons, perhaps closer to the cake or next to the photo board. It's always a great exercise to try and experimenting with different compositions.
Good work, looks delicious. For a second there I though it was a huge cake. Something about the balloons being so small next to the cake gives that impression.

Hmmm... Maybe the DoF is not enough? Or the fact that I put ballons on each side of the cake give this impression?
