PC, i7 32G ram render using CPU my experience rendering using the CPU is that it is as fast or faster than my GPU, (GeForce GTX 960) is this normal?

Thanks, I will check my GPU SETTINGS,
I ran another test right after I posted.
The CPU was 2.5 times faster.
