Communicating cells Final

This is a dramatized illustration intended to convey the concept of two cancer cells communicating with one another through the exchange of signaling molecules. This is related to a scientific research project I am working on that aims to study how cancer cells communicate with one another, so we can disrupt cooperation between cancer cells. I wanted to create an illustration that would capture this concept while making it visually engaging for an audience with broad expertise (including scientists and lay audience), rather than focusing on perfect technical accuracy. The sculpting, modeling, and rendering was all performed in Blender. The cancer cells were textured in substance painter. I performed some light post-processing in photoshop to adjust brightness and contrast in some areas.
