After completing the "Stylized 3d Forest" course I wanted to redo the exercise with a cartoon style, and this is where things took me.
I started by playing with the sapling tree generator to try out different custom leaf shapes, and realized that by making flat leaves you can get this paper collage appearance. It was kind of reminiscent of children's books, and I wanted to see how I could make it work.
Awesome 👍! A really original adaptation of the "Stylized 3D Forest" technique from Kent's course. I especially like the "Cloud of Dreams" hovering over the fire 😊!
