Small tribute to my favorite race cars, Le Mans Prototype (and Group C but you see very little of it here)
Now, this isn't the best model or the most efficient, the topology on this is very messy, the car doesn't even look functional in most places, but in the end, i just liked the overall result despite of all the issues it has, especially since the only reference i had was googling Le Mans Prototype and Group C cars
The car body itself is all made by me, but the wheels i just got off the net which is why this is still a WIP, I'm still in the process of modelling a good looking wheel for this type of car, but also considering restarting the whole thing from scratch just to fix up messy bits, lower the car and add more details (it looks too simple on the sides and the rear, i think) but, i don't have much time these days, so i have no idea when i'll get around to it.
1st Render - Front View, has small compositing, just the glare from the headlights, and the wheels downloaded from the net
2nd Render - Rear View, I'm still not pleased with the taillights, wanted them a bit more square shaped, but instead it has this round corners to it, this render has test wheels
3rd Render - Test Render, has test wheels and missing materials.
I'm still learning subdivision modelling, it's pretty fun when your topology goes the way you want it to, but a little frustrating when it doesn't look as expected ;_;
