my first render of a completely independent idea, not following any tutorial... not exactly high class, but I'm still pround of it and maybe in the future I can at least look back on it and see my progress. in the weanwhile, I thought why not share this with the world :)

The original is by O. S. Ladyzhensky; I just took the liberty (hopefully not a copyright breach) to translate it to English when I saw this work. :-)
On the technical side, the colours are excellent, coveying the mood, but the leaves are a bit too flat (no real wrinkles), and that makes their hovering over the (also a bit too flat) ground a bit too obvious.
