Trying to create a Private Investigator's office in the 40s style. Probably still some room for improvements. Feedback regarding composition, object details and lightning are appreciated.

Brandon: yes; I am still struggling with the lighting and composition part, so good advice about giving more light to the center of the image.
Goose: yes I did all the models myself. The revolver is a result from the mesh modeling bootcamp, the file boxes I created as a follow-up on the Wall of mailboxes course, the rest based on pictures
This is looking really cool! One suggestion that I would make is to choose one thing it the room, such as the file on the desk, and try to highlight it some how with the lamp or the window lighting. This will give the viewers one point that they can focus on, rather than being attracted to some of the brighter spots in the render. Great work, I can't wait to see a final!
The textures look good! Is the lighting final? I do like the ambience set by the lighting coming through the window. Did you create all of the models yourself?
