This was my very first shot at Blender again after years away from the program. With the help of the very talented Andrew Price and this beginners tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYj6e-72RDs I got a great start With a nice overview of Blenders features.
It is nice but the donuts just look too cartoony. You can try using a different diffuse or PBR, I can't really remember the ior you will use for frosting i think somewhere around 0.6 with PBR dielectric.
