Not a finished product but a reasonable facsimile of a product I fabricate on my day job!
Basically a fuel tank for compressed natural gas, these cylinders are several hundred pounds each. .25" thick core steel wrapped in several layers of steel filament and impregnated into epoxy! Nasty work but kinda cool, too!
Thanks! I've been tweaking this thing for a while but I'm pretty good with the results, now! I actually just submitted a version of this to my employer for a promo he's working on! He was pretty happy with it so maybe more work! :)
Cool stuff :) , I love that texture on the gloss paint, I have always tried to find something to replicate that kind of "commercial spray paint" finish. You got it perfect and I know because I work with welding gas bottles and we had brand new ones in the other day which were painted jsut like that :)
