My try, to October’s AnthroChallenge #124, ZOMBIES UNDER THE SEA at Deviantart.
It is an attempt to create an anthropomorphic character based on axolotl’s form and, to transform this adorable creature into something creepy and nasty. I imagined it as a zombie that can re-grow its body parts, like amphibians and serpents do but, not major organs, like eyes.
Made with Mischief and, some post corrections with Krita.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your nice comments. I must have done something right with this creature, because it reminds me of the actor Edward G. Robinson when he played nasty gangsters roles, back at 1930’s.
Beautiful work. Strong concept. Lasting impression.
Collectible.
Thank you, for your kind comments and, for your wish well for the Anthro Challenge. I know, it’s a little bit weird to alter a little cutie into a zombie but for me this was the real challenge, to transform a beauty into a monster.
That's such an interesting take on an Axolotl! Looks mighty creepy I must say, and nice job with handling the translucency as well. All the best with the contest you made this for :)
