Hey, thanks very much for the feedback :-) must admit the texture was just kinda thrown on. i originally just finished themodel and wanted some feedback and put something together really quickly as i'm very unfamiliar w/ cycles etc and probably would have taken a couple more weeks to do soemthing decent. i'll hopefully do a better version in the near future.
GREAT WORK! YOUR MODELLING IS GREAT. YOUR METAL MATERIAL, HOWEVER COULD BE BETTER. IT LOOKS PURELY GLOSSY. TRY PLAYING WITH THE FAC VALUE, AND EVEN USING AN IMAGE MAP. YOU CAN TRY PLUGGING THE FRESNEL INPUT INTO THE FAC VALUE. AGAIN GREEEAT MODELLING!!!
