I hope this one is of help. I always start with a rough sketch and add basecolor. Then I work everything out and add the details. For Yoon I had about 30 layers. 85% of this image were done in Painttool SAI, the rest with photoshop.
My main tools are the airbrush and the blur...
Don't worry if your image is pretty messy from the start.
