Hi Guys!
Thanks to the amazing content here on CGCookie, I managed to complete my first ever animation!
I made this as a wedding gift for my wife, we got married a month ago. I always draw the main character "Oog" in a short cartoon for her whenever we have an anniversary or some special event, so I thought I'd bring him to life in 3D for the most special day of our lives. We always talk about meeting each other underneath the purple tree when we are away from each other, so I decided to use that story along with my character.

There are still a lot of things I could have improved on, and that's why I need your help! Things like rigging the round character without crumpling the body mesh, rigging the bird, combining mist, depth of field and glare in the compositor... These things I didnt have the time to properly figure out. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Do you guys think I should join the Blender Foundation? Would that help me in future projects?
