Transitioning period... Final

Bah, figured I'd upload my most serious attempt at drawing (trying) something on my new tablet (Intuos CTH-680). The transition is more demanding than I first expected, but so far so good. Guess the trick is to stick with it and not give up. Notice this took over an hour. That said, I will share a few things I've found out in the last few hours that have helped me. #1) Doodle.. get a feel for it. It's not the same as a pencil so find your "comfort zone" #2) Mazes: Get some images off Google, open them up and run through the maze. Try not to hit the walls.. Funny I know, but I figured it was a good way to get that hand/eye coordination seeing your "drawing" in one spot and looking at another. #3) Settings/adjustments: Fiddle around with the settings, either the tablet settings or photoshop, that are right for you. Don't just "use and copy" the settings shown in the tutorials here. Everyone is different, so no reason everyone's tablet should be configured the same way. Hope this helps
