I wanted to call the piece "How much I hate myself? A story of mistery into the unknown" because I went out of my confort zone but first, it was too long and second, I don't think it fits the theme of the contest.
Talking about the illustration, I wanted a young princess in a baroque stiled dress and atmosphere, so she wears this big and pompous dress made of red roses. In the past children were considered small sized adults and childhood was very different, so my rose princess is young but forced to act and dress like an adult, but within her innocense still exist and it's symbolized by the pure white rose.
PS: English isn't my native language, I hope it's understandable...
