The former captain of the High Guard is still a ranked soldier but now spends most of his time wandering around Snowpeak. Sir Nikolas fought bravely for the city of Skygarde for many years until King Fortcrusher recommended a younger soldier take his place as captain. Nikolas took offense to the claims of his age affecting his swiftness in battle and left Skygarde. The aged man now lives in a small cabin below the ice mountains of Snowpeak. He tends to wearied travelers that can’t bear the frigid north. Even though Sir Nikolas has aged past his era of captain, he is still a powerful soldier that will protect anyone who welcomes it.
