Saving Sarana Final

I was really inspired to draw Bene's mentor, Sarana, when we had a one shot exploring Bene's backstory more. The one shots are handled as dreams in the campaign world until we're all on campus to start the main campaign. I am so psyched. This one shot was really fun and certainly had an effect on me. ONE SHOT SUMMARY We woke up in Sarana's city in the Underdark, found her crying in an alley way as she didn't agree with all the death and destruction the drow raids inflicted on the surface world. I knew I had to get her out of there. The divide was eating her up. So, three of us disguised ourselves as drow and loosely tied up the other two posing as captured prisoners. We went to the tower used for sacrifices to the drow gods, Sarana leading the way. She led us to the sacrificial chamber, where we met a walking, talking construct named Amber looking over wall reliefs. Shouts were above us, and before I knew it, the ground left our feet and we were plummeting down. Instinctively, I casted Feather Fall, but could only affect 5 of us. We landed in deep water in darkness. Someone spotted a sandbar so we can at least regroup and figure out another plan. Sarana was having a panic attack at this point, so I and a few others tried to calm her. She wouldn't calm down until I played her favorite song. Then, we were attacked by an aboleth. Immediately, I teleported her out of danger to one of the banks we found earlier, told her to find a way to the surface and run. I returned to battle. We killed it soon enough, then returned to Sarana. She found a door, but was afraid of the noises beyond. One member was able to look beyond the door and see it was a demon that waited after. We tried the opposite bank. There were stairs that went up and up and up until we discovered we were in a surface city filled with clergy and holy people. It would be difficult to get out of the city unnoticed. With the last of my strength, I teleported Sarana and I outside the city as one member teleported the rest out. We parted ways, a small smile on Sarana's lips.
