This is the 3rd character concept for my animation project. The real challenge for me this time was getting the metal right. It's come out ok I think but even now I can see things that make me want to re-open the image and start tweaking. The scratches on the breast plate for example. Never the less I'm still very happy with the render and feel like I'm improving with every piece now.
Rasuil is an angel of justice and retribution who fell from the sky in the dark ages. He has no memory of his life before coming to Earth or even any real idea of what he is. Hunted by the inquisition and nightmare creatures of Uthirwurld he rose to become Earths greatest protector from the darkness of the world just beyond the mirror that threatens to consume it.
