A couple of months ago, I found a stock photo on DeviantArt of a woman whose facial structure I found particularly interesting, and decided to try and draw it. I actually did reasonably well on the sketch, so I then went on to use it for a color study of one of my painting idols.
This is the result--and the first piece I'm more or less happy with in a long, looooong time.
Critique and suggestions still welcome, of course.
