The main color of this piece is pink. I know this contest wasn't restricted to spring, but i wanted to honor it anyways. The color was inspired by the vivid pink of the cherry blossom tree. The character is a simple girl. She has to follows her countries traditions, which involves wearing a lot of make up, wearing the fanciest dresses, knowing how to be a perfect housewife etc. She is always picked on because of her unusual pink hair. But she loves it, because she is unique. In spring, she likes to run away to this cherry blossom tree, with her simplest dress, which is also her favorite, wearing no make up, having no responsibilities, just her, her hair, and her natural beauty. My character was inspired by Sakura from Naruto, and the Chinese female hero Mulan
