I am posting this image as it's another practical use were I have used Blender for product design. The Minerals Engineering Society after 60 years has been wound up due to the demise of the Coal Mining within the UK. As a legacy to the Society and to divest the remaining funds, a link with Derby University has been formed to remember the Society and it's aim to support the transfer of knowledge to future generations. Derby University is one of a few Universities in the UK that still run courses on Mineral Processing, mainly for the Limestone Industry prevalent throughout the area. This project was to design an Outstanding Achievement Award and Medal to be presented to the best student on a annual basis. The main image is the concept of the items and the smaller image is the triangular Award, Medals and President's Chain of Office being handed over to the University.
