I created this image in order to show something emotional and to improve my painting skills in drawing people and light. I always pay attention to the details so I tried to "clean" and finish every part of the image (just wanted it to be perfect).
In this picture you can see the sad girl missing her good times. The glowing ball symbolizes all of her most precious memories, which warming her heart.
This picture was made with MyPaint (plus a little edition in Gimp). Inside the ball there is a fractal which I created using Apophysis (fractal flame editor).
