Photoshop CS2 - I mainly experimented with color types on this one. In fact that's pretty much all I'm doing at the moment when it comes to getting in to a Painterly sort of style. The initial color uses a simple set of blues, purples and a hint of green to generate some interest. The other orbs are actually just the same thing with a different hue set upon them.
