I'm not sure how long this piece took. It started as a honestly boring creature design that I got excited about a few shapes and flipped it and started working it as a landscape to eventually back to a creature design.
I started from color from scratch so any comments on that would definitely help because I don't think I'm a good colorist. I just messed around till I got something that felt right.
He had four eyes which made me think of that nickname they give people with glasses. I gave him some glasses because of that. I don't know if it is hokey or gives him a bit of character. Hoping the later of course.
